Almas Alardhi- I am a writer director from Jakarta, Indonesia. Growing up, I’ve watched and loved American movies. I found them to be an escape. My love for movies has always made me feel like an outsider. People around me didn’t understand or care why I was so passionate about this art form. With the help of my loving and supportive parents, I decided to study in the city of movies, Los Angeles. After four years of work, I finished film school with magna cum laude and completed a passion project of mine, a student thesis called “The Four Stages of Cancer According to Introverts.” As long as I have ideas and the passion for movies, I don’t think I will ever stop making them.
