SYNOPSIS

Jack has just been released from prison for a felony pending hearing in two months, and he could be sentenced to up to five years. While he tries to heed his mother’s advice and keep a low profile, the connection with his fellow miscreants proves just too deep to ignore. Nearly everyone in Jack’s immediate circle is either involved in felonies or misdemeanors. Jack is part of a gang involved in house break-ins, purse snatching, drugs, weapons, and grand theft auto. Following a recent purse-snatching incident, Jack is released with an ankle monitor pending a hearing in two months. He faces a significant jail term. Jack reunites with his accomplice to get his share of the proceedings from the crime pending in court. Seemingly resigned to his fate, Jack intends to further engage in crime to generate enough money to sustain him as he does time in prison later. He manipulates his reluctant friend to go back to the streets. Jack shows no intention to rehabilitate despite his mother’s plea.
