SYNOPSIS

“Lilies” is a queer love story set during 2020’s COVID lockdowns. In quarantine, the personal and political collide and comingle, forcing one woman to interrogate birth, becoming, class, femme health, and gay sufficiency against a backdrop of farm simulator games, archival agricultural footage, b-roll, domestic scenes, and psychedelic abstraction.

DIRECTOR

Victoria Thomas is a Scotland based filmmaker of Sierra Leonean/Nigerian descent. She started out as a Producer shorts and indie features and is now developing work as a Writer/Director.

Recent projects include being a Producer/Director on the as yet untitled African Queens series for Netflix, Executive Produced by Jada Pinkett Smith.
