After an unexpected visit to a psychic, Celeste learns that there is no medical cure or cause for her son’s terminal illness. This Christian woman, who does not believe anything beyond her faith, must now face the truth about her husband’s last marriage, and the possiblity that her son is paying for the sins of his father. In the end Celeste is faced with an ultimatum that could save her son, yet turn her back on her faith.

DIRECTOR

Garrick Wade is Houston-raised, New York City director, writer, and film producer. His past projects includes Remembering Wednesday (Web-series), award winning Ghosted (short film), and The Reading (short film). Garrick always knew he would be a storyteller since he was child. He studied communications at Lamar University and University of Houston. Now as the creative head of Cre8tiveTribe Media Garrick’s hope is to continue producing narratives from people of color and to tell all facets of the black experience.
